During the challenging days of Berlin lockdown, Giovanni Fanton found a spark of inspiration. Driven by creativity and a desire for something fresh, he started a project that filled his free time and brought something fresh into his life. That's how a personal hobby grew into Be-ton. 

The name Be-ton originates from the German word "Beton," meaning concrete. It starts with the same letter as Berlin, its birthplace, and ends with the last letters of Fanton, its founder. Additionally, it includes the verb "to be," suggesting the idea of solidity and durability.
